Mornings are always stressful. A study shows that parents have 26 tasks on an average on their to-do list in the mornings. Accomplishing all these tasks and getting their kids to the bus stop on time is a challenge. Can we reduce this stress a bit. Of course we can. No more worrying about missing the bus, no worrying sitting at your work wondering if your kid has reached the school safely or not. No more worrying of standing in the rain, or cold, for an untold amount of time. And no more worries in the afternoons, wondering if they have made it home safely.
Here comes WayAlerts. By using WayAlerts, parents will know where the bus is. You will even get alerts if the driver is over-speeding or the bus is going out of geo-fence.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
WayAlerts GPS devices are installed in the participating school buses and the school invites (SMS/Email) parents to track the assigned school bus. These GPS devices start communicating with our server and WayAlerts translates that information into an easy to follow a program, and customizable map, that works on either a computer or smartphone, which allows you to see where the bus is and how close it is to your home.
The web portal is for school administration and mobile app is for parents which is configurable, so notifications can be sent to you letting you know when the bus is close. The technology that makes it all possible comes from SyncMinds Technologies and the software that they developed.

FEATURES:
1. Real-time tracking of the school bus on the google mas based screen on the app.
2. POI Alert: Allows parents to set a location on google maps as a Point of Interest (POI) for the school bus. This enables WayAlerts to alert the parent minutes before the bus is about to reach this location while picking up kids enroute school or dropping off kids back from school.
3. Reached School Alert: Alerts parents as soon as bus reaches school after picking up kids from POI.
4. Over Speed Alert: Alerts parents if bus exceeds the speed limit set by the school administrator.
5. Geo-fence Alert: Alerts parents if the bus goes out of the geofence (a virtual safe zone circle around the school)
6. Disconnect Alert: Alerts parents when the WayAelrts server loses connection with the bus and is no more able to monitor/track the bus (tampered GPS device, bus breakdown, etc.)
